Melbourne Cup Tour 2026

In July 2026, Carnarvon Race Club was incredibly proud to host the Melbourne Cup on Tour, bringing one of Australia’s most iconic sporting trophies to the Gascoyne.

The visit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase Carnarvon, our racing community and the incredible people, produce and businesses that make our region so special. From our world-class racing track to our famous fresh produce, seafood and warm country hospitality, we were proud to put Carnarvon in the spotlight.

With the Melbourne Cup as the centrepiece, our Family Fun Day brought the community together for a celebration of racing, local talent and everything that makes Carnarvon a great place to live, visit and experience.
